This is my first post to the Scioto Valley list. I am searching for
information on Jacob YATES. I will gladly share any information I have and
will appreciate any new information.

SCIOTO COUNTY:
Jacob (Jake) YATES m. Elsie Jane ? Children were:
Mary, Ellen, Bill, Ruel, Tom, Cornelius, Frank b 1867, and James Ira
Yates
(Sorry, no dates known for Jacob and Elsie)

James Ira YATES b 10/27/1885 married Rosa Mae BURCHAM (daughter of Richard
and Margaret (LEE) BURCHAM. Children of James and Rosa YATES were:
Walter b 1909, Floyd Ira b 1911, Clifford b 1912, Homer b 1913, Charlie b
1916, Maggie b 1918, Ruel b 1920, Jessie b 1921, Theodore b 1923, and Noah b
1925.
At least the first three children were born in Scioto County (possibly at
Howard Furnace, Vernon Township, Lyra).
