The Established Church is Church of Ireland.
While you do not tell us the time frame of your English relative, it
can be assumed that they were Church of England. The earlier i.e.
nearer 1537, the more likely that they are.
Most English settlers in Ulster were Church of Ireland (the two
Churches were interchangeable until 1869).
In the 18th Century, generally it was the Church of Ireland people
were affected in some cases by the Wesleyan methodist movement.
