located in the Counties of Longford,Roscommon and Westmeath,although
designated as being a rare Connacht surname by both Matheson & Woulfe.

Would anyone out there be able to provide me with an interpretive
meaning of the Irish Gaelic "O MOITIDE" and/or the connection of this
seemingly rare Irish Clan to any of the other Clans of Ireland.
