In "Scotch Irish Pioneers in Ulster and America", Charles K. Bolton
lists several families including those of "Malkem Hendery" and my
ancestor, Alexander Bothwell, who emigrated from Ardstraw Parish, County
Tyrone to Worcester, MA in 1718-1719. Alexander was accompanied by his
wife, Jane Donaghy. Their grandchildren, Mary and William, married John
and Eunice Harper in Oakham, MA. John and Eunice descended from James
Harper who emigrated from Londonderry to Topsham, ME in 1718. Bolton is
an exceptional source because it lists so many of the early Scotch-Irish
emigrants and often links their surnames back to counties and sometimes
even to towns and parishes back in Ulster.
The above probably doesn't add anything to what you already know, but at
least it's a good excuse to expose our lines to other researchers.
