The Milwaukee-Journal -Sentinel newspaper has a full page, one
column obituary of David's life, in Friday, Feb. 6, 1998. He died last wk. funeral was Saturday.
Says he is Scotch-Irish.
Some of you may have known him; it gives a long list of his interests
in Scotland and Irish community events.
He was 45 yrs.of age.

Among items on the list is ;"he was a member of the advisory council to the Caledonian Foundation, USA, which works for the benefit of the Scottish opera, Scotland's Theatre Royal, the Edinburgh Festival Theatre and other arts groups."

"He was also adept @ bridging the Scottish and Irish communities",friend Thomas Westgaard said.

He and Liz visited Scotland 3 times.Though he never visited Ireland, he did not ignore his Irish heritage. He was a national founding member of Clan O'Brien".

Played bagpipes.
Died 2 days after heart surgery.

I did not know him, but for those who did, it seems they were fortunate.
