I've just transcribed the estate inventory for my SI Robert CLARK of
Londonderry, NI/NH, d. 1775. Among the 2 pages of possessions were, 5
blankets valued at 80 shillings. I have no idea how to equate 1775
pounds to 1998 dollars, but would say that from 15 shillings to $164.98
($205.98) is a big price jump! All his wearing apparel is lumped
together with a value of 8 pounds 7 shillings 7 pence. T

Think I'll have to order this catalog!
