Harold,
Hi again. I am not familiar with the names, but I had some kinfolks going through Warren Co. KY to Illinois. They stayed in KY and TN. a couple of years, then went on to Illinois. Waller (1815-18), Verdin (1820), Lee (1820), Francisco (1815-18), and a few others. I will check my files on Reeves.

Dear Shirley,

I wonder if Reavis or Reeves name might be familiar to you. Think they
traveled ca 1796 from NC to TN. Some stayed in TN, some ended up ca 1818
in Vincennes area. Bond Co Illinois by 1830s. I had not thought about
them all going to KY first then splitting - one group to TN, while another
went to IN, IL. Why did they go to KY first? Because of mountains and the
way the rivers ran?

I have a Higdon, Mullins, Thompson, Malone and possibly Gray coming out of
Montgomery Co NC to central TN ca 1830s, but they traveled by rivers into
that part of TN and overland.

Thanks - keep me advised.
