Mr. Coffee--have you read about the escapades of
bloody Bill Cunningham in SC during revolution times?
A grave site of mass murder by him and his men
is located a couple miles out of our town,
of Batesburg---in Saluda County--formerly 96dist.
could he have been any relation to the one you
talk about?its my understanding that William?Travis,
of Alamo fame;was involved in tracking him down--'
I,ve also found records that Travis was visited by
George Washington,on his stopover at Lees Tavern'
in 1791,that they had been good freinds in Va. earlier?
If my info is misinformed,please enliten me to what facts
