neighborhood is right...the church is right and the name is very scarce.
John was born in Germany in 1826. I think in Westphalia...a town called
Bocholts. Do you know if any one has access to the 1860 census and 1850
census for St. Louis and is willing to do a look-up for me? Also the priest
that you mention...Holy Trinity was a German church in a very German
Neighborhood...perhaps he was there?
