I am not sure if this will be the Frank Tallent that was your grandfather but my great uncle was called Frank even though his real name was William Frank Tallent and he was born in 1906.

His parents were John Hugh Tallent aka J. Hugh Tallent and Nettie Margaret Ghormley. He had 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Cyrus Eugene who went by Pete (not sure why) and Sarah E. (went by Roxie) and Paul R. and Neva M. and Mark Hugh McDaniel Tallent (went by Mack) and Otto Tallent (still living) and Claude Ghormley Tallent (my grandfather) and Alma Rae.

Not sure if that's the Frank you want but I thought it was worth a shot even though your posting is several years old now.
