Our earlier ancestors of Hanover and Amherst Counties in Virginia were: JOHN JAMES WRIGHT, b 1842; his father, HENRY TALLEY WRIGHT, b 1817; his father, WILLIAM (Thompson?) WRIGHT, b ? (and an unknown Miss Talley he is believed to have married). Before William there is believed to have been a LAFAYETTE WRIGHT who may have been a stowaway on a boat from England. Our quest is to find more information on our earliest ancestors, and to help provide linkage for those of you who have become part of our family.
