Just read your post and Harriet Frye's answer concerning Rush Tankersley. Rush was my great uncle. I have a wonderful biography written by his wife, Sammy Lee Barnett Tankersley. Rush was born in Indiana, the son of Charles William Tankersley and Mary Cummins Tankersley. I also have information concerning his descendants. Would be glad to provide you with information if this is connected to your "Rush."
