After a long time, I hope I can still contact you...I think you are probably right, and when searching a library file for 'my'Andrew, I found census records of one Andrew who had moved to Georgia from TN. I know that Andrew and wife Martha Ann Norton Tankersley lived in the "Digby" community of Spalding County, GA, but thye are also listed in census as being in "Linecreek". My grandfather, John D. moved his family from there to Alabama in 1889, when my father Judge was three months old. He was a Baptist preacher, and pastored -actually started- churches in the western part of CUllman County, AL. (where I was born) John D. had twelve children and he, wife Elizabeth George Tankersley, and most, if not all their children are buried in the Ebenezer Cemetery. I have found some historical factors of Andrew and Martha's life in Georgia, but have never been able to find his parentage.
Any information would be helpful.
