I believe that William is the son of Francis Tanner. The Idea that he may
have come from Bristol is centered on the origin of the Baptist. Which I
understand originated in England in the area of Bristol? It has been a very
long time that I looked at any of the records on William. But If my memory
has not failed me completely, I think it is correct. Sorry if I may have
started a controversy. I try to read the group messages. I just don't have
the time to do an in-depth look at my records for some time.
