I placed a map on the web for those of you coming to the reunion. The map
is of the Tyler area and you'll see where I have labeled Stone Fort to the
southeast of town.

I hope you all will make every effort to come. Bring yourselves, your
families, your genealogy stuff, your camera (so you can take pics home with
you!), and toys for your kids (& the grownups that like to play!). If you
want to bring a dish and if you are coming from afar, don't worry about
that, just come on 'cause we will have big thanksgiving day anyway. I have
some vegetarians in my bunch and some turkey-eaters too. If you need
something special ... like no salt, please email me so I can be sure we
have something on the table you can eat too!

If you're just curious & want to know what all those red numbers are on my
map <g> ... those are the schools in our school district :)

Where?: I live on the Troup Hwy (Hwy 110) abt 1/2 mile outside of Loop 323.

The Thanksgiving Day reunion will be at Stone Fort ...
Just follow us 3 miles south of Loop 323 on Hwy 110.
Drive south towards Whitehouse and turn right on CR 2228.
Go just 1/4 mile west and you will see the entrance sign to Stone Fort on
the left.

Once the home of the Caddo Indians over 200 years ago, the camp is emersed
in a densely wooded forest of pine, post oak, elm, cedar and dogwood.
Meandering through the center of the camp is the spring fed Hill Creek. We
will have a large facility to gather in and plenty of grounds to play on.
Base ball courts, etc. Bring fun stuff!

Reminder: We're having a family reunion on Thanksgiving day here in Tyler,
Texas. Why not come, bring your family, and avoid having to do
Thanksgiving dinner yourselves? If everyone brings a dish or two, we'll
have more than enough!

More importantly, I'm asking folks to bring photos, resource documents and
files, family bibles, etc. I plan to have a scanner, copier, and computer
set up for those wishing to copy items from each other. I will very likely
have two of each set up.

Let me know if you think you'll be able to join us.
:) Lotus
