Dan,
I will give you what I have.

1. Ann DANIEL, whose will is below, is the 2nd wife of James L. DANIEL,
brother to my Robert W. DANIEL - he and the Mary DANIEL described in the
Will of Ann DANIEL are my great-grandparents.
2. Robert W. DANIEL and James L. DANIEL are sons of James D. DANIEL (or
McDANIEL) as stated in the Will of Ann DANIEL.
3. Robert and James have sisters named Elizabeth, Sarah and Nancy and
all of these children were born between 1799 and 1813. I do not know the
name of their mother but I think her name was Elizabeth, Sarah or Nancy
based upon the names of her female children. Nancy is probably the best
choice of the three as the name of their mother.

In the 1850 Jefferson County, GA census a Louisa TARVER (age 14) and a
William A. TARVER (age 9/12) are listed as living in the household of Robert
W. DANIEL. At the same time a Mark E. TARVER (age 7) and a Clara B. TARVER
(age 2) are living with his brother, James L. DANIEL. What it look like is
their parents died and they took them in, splitting them up between both
families. What this tells me is that one of their sisters was married to a
TARVER and both her and her husband died.
With young children in Richmond County, GA in 1840 are Samuel TARVER
(age 40-50), Etheldred J. TARVER (age 30-40), John R. TARVER (age 40-50).
It has to be one of these -- my guess is Etheldred J. TARVER, Jr.
Of the DANIELS we find listed in the same 1840 census in Richmond
County, GA are William DANIEL (age 20-30), John DANIEL, Sr. (age 30-40),
John DANIEL (age 10-15), Needham DANIEL (age 40-50), Bryant DANIEL (age
40-50), James DANIEL (age 15-20), John DANIEL (age 10-15) and another John
DANIEL, Sr (age 40-50) and William DANIEL (age 20-30). .
So somewhere in your listing of the TARVERS of Jefferson County, GA and
Richmond County, GA are the parents of these kids. Who do you think they
are and what is their relationship to any of these DANIELS. I am going to
post this to you privately as well as to the list. Maybe somebody else will
know.
