Tarvers migrated from M
iss. to Tyler co Texas, and settled in Chester, Peach Tree Village, They are
also in Polk co , Limestone co , Mc Lennen co Texas.

I also have William Walter Tarvers CSA. file, I will share,
J.H. Tarver ( Our direct line) was captured
in Ark. and taken to Camp Butler, Ill. Where he died as a POW
2/12/1863,plot816, There is another Tarver buried at the National Cem.
there.
J.H.s son William Shockley Tarver is my husbands Grandfather, I have
information on him and family.
