Yvonne, regarding D. D., supposedly he had the whole Tarver line traced in some scheme to prove we "owned" Abbeville, LA. The story goes that after he died, the wife had her son (D.D.'s stepson) burn the whole trunk load in the front yard because she was tired of Tarvers asking her about it.

D.D. is buried here in Sulphur, LA.

Regarding your post below, lines [1] and [2], whose uncle, what brother to Ira?
