you're right, I pulled the wrong Allen's census file.
Allen Tarver, b.October 11, 1832, d. September 04, 1884, bur at Lofton
Cemetery, dates from his gravestone.
If I'm correct, he is the father of Richard David Tarver bJanuary 17,
1840, d.February 12, 1920, bur at Provencal Cem., Provencal, Natchitoches
Par., Louisiana, who marr. Martha Ann Dean, b.March 08, 1838, d.October
15, 1915, also bur at Provencal ... these were the parents of the Jobe
Tarver bunch:
Jobe O. Tarver
Elizabeth Tarver
William Allen Tarver
George Washington Tarver
Richard David Tarver, Jr.
Samuel Tarver
-- by my compilations, anyway. :)
Still have an Allen born ca 1790-1810 in Franklin Co area ...
