Could be son of Judith Cockerham, age 30 on 1850 Amite Co., Mississippi
Census Reel #: M432-368, pp. 90B-91A. Lott married twice ... (1) Emmeline
(Indian) one dau of their union (Mary Elizabeth Tarver, Jan 16, 1840 -
Nov 14, 1926, marr. Seaborn Bickham Wainwright, d. at Olla, LaSalle Par.,
LA). Lott married (2) Eliza L. Neal on Jul 20, 1848 in Amite Co.,
MS; five children of their union: Adaline Tarver, Franklin P. Tarver,
James B. Tarver, Anthony Tarver, Mary F. Tarver

Born in Amite Co., Mississippi, Lott was working as a farmer, with
property valued at $1,000 when the Amite Co., was enumerated in December
1850. He and his wife, Eliza, had 2 Neal children (all born in Ms.) and 2
Tarver children, living in the hh at the time. One Tarver child,
Elizabeth, 11 at the time of the census, would have been Mary Elizabeth,
the child of Lott and wife (1) Emmaline, said to have been a native
America Indian whom he married in Texas. Lott was dec'd by Nov 24th 1866
when Eliza rec'd $106.50 from his estate as partial payment of one years
support for her & her children.

Citation issued to the following in Amite Co., Mississippi -
Eliza Tarver, wife of deceased, A Tarver, F P Tarver, J B Tarver, Anthony
Tarver, Mary F Tarver, J D Tarver, W Z Tarver.

Also, a waiver from Elizabeth Wainwright and S B Wainwright of St. Helena
Parish, Louisiana dated 15 June 1868.

Receipts:
$106.50 Received of E L Tarver admr of Lott Tarver estate [strikethrough
estate] decd one hundred & six dollars & fifty cents ($106.50) in part
payment of money allowed by Commrs (?) for one years support for me &
children. Nov 24th 1866. Eliza Tarver

Jan. 23rd 1867 Received of E L Tarver admr of Lott Tarver Estate as part
of my alowence for one years support for me & children alowed by the
commisioners (?) of appaisement ninety two dollars & seventy five
cents. Eliza Tarver
