I am also interested in the JOHN TARVER's who were Methodist ministers.
My husband was from this family. His 4th great grandfather had a brother
named John and he disappears from this family. Could he be the second
JOHN? I have a copy of Benjamins sketch. My guess is that this
JOHN probably did end up in SC. The second one is anyones guess.

The parents of this second JOHN were Sarah Rogers, daughter of Joseph Rogers
of Northampton Co., NC and John Tarver. They lived in Wake/Johnston Co's,
NC. Depending where the county line was when the census was taken.
