I decided a long time ago that what Sharon's grandfather saw and said was good enough for me. Sharon, do you have anything beyond Benjamin?

Take care and a big hello to Margy.....Margy, did you know the Tarver cousin that died recently in Lafayette, LA? She was brought to Monroe and buried here. There was only a small obituary with no relatives listed. I will go back through the paper and see if I can find her first name. My mother knew of a Tarver related to us that was living in South Louisiana but didn't know if this lady was her.

My name is Sharon Smith Logan. My great great grandmother was Elizabeth Tarver born 1824 who married John Wiley Wactor in 1846, Franklin County, Mississippi. Her parents were Dempsey Tarver born 1800 South Carolina, died 1854, Franklin County, MS and Rachel Bunch. Dempsey is believed to the son of Benjamin Tarver and wife ?????. Dempsey's estate record is both in Franklin and Amite Counties, Mississippi.
