HARRODSBURG - Lillie Springate Taylor, 101, Talmage-Mayo Road, former
homemaker, widow of Virgil Taylor, died Sunday. Services 11 a.m. Wednesday,
Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Visitation 5 p.m. today.

WILLIAMSBURG - Shirley Taylor, 36, daughter of Norman and Barbara Hess,
died saturday, apparently after sustaining a gunshot wound. The death was
still under investigation, according to the Fayette County coroner's
office. Services 2 p.m. Wednesday, Ellison Funeral Home. Visitation 6 p.m.
today.

TAYLOR, BETTY ANN (Lancaster)
On Thursday, October 9, 1997, at her residence in Fairfax, VA.
Beloved wife of Brent Wren Taylor; mother of Jeffrey Brent and Gregory
Lancaster Taylor. She is also survived by one grandchild, Ethan Wren
Taylor; sister of Lloyd Lancaster and Fred Lancaster of Charlotte, NC.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 9350
Braddock Rd., Burke, VA on Saturday, October 11, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. with a
reception to follow in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd.

Esther (DeSelms Taylor) Bullard
STAFFORD - Esther Bullard, 85, died Dec. 8, 1997, at Henderson, Nev. She
was born Oct. 31, 1912, in Pratt County, the daughter of Jay and Bessie A.
DeSelms Taylor. A longtime Stafford resident, she was a homemaker. She was
a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
On Nov. 29, 1932, she married "Joe" Claude Bullard at Great Bend. He died
April 20, 1997. Survivors include: two daughters, Gloria A. Lanigan, St.
John, and Nancy Rose Zorzi, Dolan Springs, Ariz.; two brothers, Doyle
Taylor, Stafford, and Orville Taylor, Pratt; two sisters, Dorothy
Hargadine, Stafford, and Violet Lott, Phoenix; 10 grandchildren; and eight
great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Minnis Chapel, Stafford. Friends may
call from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at the
chapel. Burial will be in the Stafford Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to
the family, in care of the funeral chapel.

TAYLOR Carrie Hicks Taylor, 82 of Chesterfield, died Thursday, December 11,
1997. She is survived by her husband, Thomas M. Taylor; three sons, T.
Preston, Raymond C. (Pete) and Lloyd G. (Jack) Taylor; one daughter, Peggy
T. Camp; one brother, George L. Hicks Jr.; four grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends. Her remains
rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull St. Rd.
where the family will receive friends 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and where funeral
services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday. Interment Dale Memorial Park. In
lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hopewell United Methodist
Church Organ Fund.
