There are a number of references which list George Taylor who married
Rachel Gibson as the son of James Taylor and Martha Thompson.and
brother to Zachary T. But few of them give their sources. Look at
Hayden's <Virginia Genealogies> under <A genealogy of the Glassell
Family and Others>. <Colonal Families of the Southern States of
America> [Taylor Family] also gives this. But like so many gens - even
today - these <facts> are given without backup qualified sources.
I take this opportunity to make the same comment about what is
appearing on the Internet - lots of gens - little sources..
