I am seeking information on Elizabeth TAYLOR (possibly Mary Elizabeth).

Father: Marion R. TAYLOR
Mother: Ella TAYLOR

She was born circa 1877 (place unknown), and died April, 1901, presumably
in Springfield, IL. She had one sister, Jessie, who was born circa 1880
and also died circa 1901-1902, presumably in the Springfield area.

Elizabeth was married to Sidney John WALKER and they resided in
Springfield in 1901 when she died.

Elizabeth had one child, Elizabeth ("Lizzie") Irene WALKER, born January,
1895. When Elizabeth died the little girl was taken to the Sisters of
Mercy orphanage in Springfield. When Jessie died, leaving two young boys,
the little boys (surname unknown) were also taken to Sisters of Mercy.
Shortly thereafter, the boys were taken to live with relatives
(whereabouts and names unknown), and "Lizzie" was taken to her maternal
grandmother, Ella TAYLOR.

I believe the TAYLORs may have been in the Illinois area but have no
further information.
