Hello Dale!
From what I can recall, the ROAD was supposed to have been along the current
route of old US 52 down thru Rural Hall. I'm sure there are some that can
validate a more approximate location.
My mother's people were also from Pilot Mtn, PATTERSON (paternal) and
WHITAKER (maternal).
