My Grandmother's maiden name is Thomas. I tried to get a little history on the name. When I first started this I assumed the name was Irish! Boy, was I dumb. I was told that my Thomas line was Welsh. Now I read that some were German. Does anyone know the origin of the Thomas surname or know of a good web site to do a little research?
