I have an extensive family tree (almost entirely the work of others)
that includes your ancestors, Samuel L. THOMAS (b. 1864, d. after 1910)
and Martha A. GREENWELL (b. 1866) and their ten children; Samuel was my
grandfather's older brother (one of many). Our THOMAS family started
out in Kent, England, came to Maryland in the mid-1600's, moved on to
central Kentucky as part of the Catholic League about 1790, and my
greatgrandfather moved to Missouri (briefly) before the civil war, and
then settled in Union County, Kentucky, in 1863, where at least some of
the family still lives.
