Subject: PLEASE READ!! "Listowner" post

Dear cousins,

In order to try to protect our machines and valuable information from
attachments sent by non-listmembers who don't know any better than to send
them, any list started by me has today become "restricted". All this means
is that a person must be a subscriber to the list to post to it. If you
recieve this post, you are a member of one of "my" lists - you know which one.

I have in the past asked you not to send attachments, and I am doing so
again. If any of you do not know what an attachment is, please post to me,
and I will explain it to you.

I am also requesting that, instead of the 30K limit I had previously
requested as a post length limit to the list, you limit yourselves to 20K
per post - if you need more space for your post, please divide your
information into more than one post. The reason for this requested length
limit is that some of you are using Juno now, which, I have been told by
several of you, will not accept posts of more than 20K.

Also, please note that I am switching my e-address from <>
to <>. Please make a note of this somewhere that you can
find it in case you need me.

I hope y'all are having better luck getting past your brick walls than I am
- let's all continue to post what we know of our lines, in hopes that we can
connect.
