In my search of my elusive grandparents: I remember a name from my
childhood....Effie THOMPSON...we called her Aunt Effie, but I am not sure
how she was related. She lived in Spokane, Wash.....and was very old at the
time....I was a teenager, or younger, and I remember her being 93
then....that would put her birthdate about 1864....more or less...

She died in Spokane as far as I know. There is no one living that can give
me any further information on me. I thought that perhaps someone might have
heard of her name, or have access to Spokane cemetery or death listings, and
could point me in the right direction. I try everything I can possibly
think of to find these grandparents who seemed to appear from
nowhere.....Eugene Horace HALL (b 1856/58 in Conneaut, OH) and Bessie Salina
THOMPSON, born 23 Dec 1859 Erie Co. PA....(Perhaps Elk Co.PA)....They were
married somewhere on 11 Mar 1880....

It is like looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack. All of the
funeral records were destroyed in a fire in Saskatchewan, Canada - where
they had emigrated to in about 1910..........From there forward I do have a
lot of records....but not backwards.

Any help will be deeply appreciated. Mary Anne
