Hi List,
As you have likely noticed before I am searching for my Thompson Brothers,
James and Francis of Kilmanagh, Huron County, Michigan.
Lately I have been contacted by a woman who thinks these brother's whole
family came over Kilmanagh, County Kilkenny, Ireland.
The brother's parents, on their death certificates from Michigan said,
their parents were Francis and Mary Thompson, from Kilmanagh, Ireland.
This would have been in the 1840s or there about, when they crossed over
the water. The family very likely settled in the Owen Bay, area of Ontario,
Canada.
The other new clue I have is, one or more the these men's sister may have
been born in Scotland.
If you are searching for Thompson in the area of Canada. Or this story
rings a bell in some way. I am grabbing at straws anyway. You offer me a
hint of any kind, I'll take, gladly. And it will be most welcome.
Likely siblings names, Mary, Susan, Henry,
Thanks for reading my post.
