S 17727 THOMPSON, HENRY, born 18 June 1754, Stratford, CT.

Wife, Prudence Stoddard; m. 23 Dec 1780 Woodbury, CT.

He was a son of Daniel and Hanna [Hawley] Thompson who were married 17 Mar
1735 at Stratford, CT. Their children were:

1] Lucy Thompson, b 5 Jan 1737
2] James Thompson, b 25 Aug 1738
3] Paul Thompson, b 10 Feb 1740
4] Mary Thompson, b 24 Sept 1742; m. Thaddeus Minor
5] Hannah Thompson, b 12 Mar 1745; m. Searl Bradley 3 May 1771 Woodbury
6] Comfort Thompson, b 23 May 1747; m. Alexander Kasson 3 Nov 1772 "
7] George Thompson, b 29 Dec 1748
8] Daniel Thompson, b 22 Oct 1751
9] Henry Thompson, b 18 Jan 1754; m. Prudence Stoddard

Henry and Prudence [Stoddard] Thompson had at least two children:

1] Daniel Thompson, b 12 Jan 1783
2] Lucy Thompson, b 10 Jan 1785

He was a resident of Bethlehem, Woodbury District, Litchfield Co., CT when
he applied for his pension. He was born at Stratford, CT but removed to
Woodbury as an infant with his father. He enlisted as a Private at
Bethlehem in Capt. Nathaniel Littles' Company; also served in Capt. Elias
Dunnings' Company of Militia.

THOMPSON, HENRY - NH - Bounty Land Warrant #3522 for 100 acres was issued 5
April 1796 to Samuel Stone, assignee for the service of Private Henry
Thompson of the NH Line.

S 1729 THOMPSON, HUDSON, born 30 Mar 1763, Northampton Co., NC. He applied
for pension as a resident of Sumner Co., TN in 1833, saying he had served
as a Lighthorse soldier in the Company of Capt. Samuel Cryer. In 1810 he
moved to the State of Tennessee where he has lived ever since, with the
exception of one year spent in Caldwell Co., KY. No information as to wife
or family.

The spelling "Thomson" also used in this file.

S 23021 THOMPSON, HUGH, born 16 Sept 1753, Plainfield, CT. He filed for
pension at Franklin, Delaware Co., NY, on 4 Mar 1831, stating he had
enlisted at Windham Co., CT and served as Private and Sergeant in the CT
Line. No other information in file.

He was a son of Jonathan and Johannah [Unknown] Thompson, who also had
another son, Jonathan Thompson [Jr.], b 16 Nov 1757.

THOMPSON, HUGH - PA - Bounty Land Warrant #10489 for 100 acres was issued
18 May 179? to Isabella McLean, late Isabella Thompson, Executrix, for
service of Private Hugh Thompson in the Pennsylvania Line.
