Is there anyone on this list from OHIO? Most of my ancestors lived in Athens and Hocking Counties in the 1800s.

Jeremiah THOMPSON (b. about 1775, d 1848) came from England to the Athens County area in the early 1800s and settled in the part of Lee Twp which is now Waterloo township. His son, John THOMPSON married a Laura CARPENTER in 1828. They had the following children:*

Louisa (b.1842, d. UNKNOWN) m. Samuel LAFOLLETT

Ruth (b.1843, d. UNKNOWN)

Mark (B. 1844, d. 1896) m. Ellenore SHANNON

John (B.1848, d. UNKNOWN)

Another daughter, Caroline, was born about 1851.
