My family is from the Dublin/Wicklow area. My great grandfather was Patrick Tighe a catholic. He came to the United States about 1845 tvia England to New York. I'm having a heck of a time finding this family. Xavier a middle name of my grandfather's is believed to be a common factor w/this family. Patrick had several brothers that also came to the United States. Michael, James, Francis and George.

My father is the youngest and the only surviving member of his family and only remember's a conversation about the family was from the Dublin/Wicklow area. It is my understand there was never an O in front of the name but the name throughout Irish history has changed and that the English spelling was Tighe but that's all I know. Is there anything you can do to assist me in finding this family?
