Hi Listers

I am writing this before connecting and reading whether there have been any
responses to my earlier post, so my appalling mistake may already have been
identified and commented upon.

The village of Colyton is in the English county of Devon and definitely NOT
in Somerset; apologies to all.

The corrected wording follows:-


"Today, while wandering through the village of Colyton in Devon, England,
I discovered mention of a TILBURY family and pass on the information in the
hope that it will be of some help.

This first list is of TILBURYs of the village who have died at some
indeterminate date in the past; I might, but only might, be able to find out
more if there is an interest out there.

Emma TILBURY
James Caleb TILBURY
Elsie TILBURY
Ernest TILBURY

The following is the wording written on a plaque on a wall in the village:-

"This garden has been created in loving memory of Paul TILBURY by members of
his family November 2002."

If anyone is interested, I could take a photograph of this plaque and send
as an attachment, but obviously off-list."
