I've been following the list for the six months or so I've been using TMG
(with great interest, and learning a lot!).

I was interested in the posts about Endnotes, since I am faced with the
same dilemma. I'd like a "condensed" list of unique notes, but would like
to have them work like real Endnotes so references and citations could be
rearranged or deleted.

Unfortunately, I don't have a solution. I do, however, have extensive
experience with the program EndNote (from Niles Assoc.) at work, and it's
NOT going to do what is wanted. EndNote is basically for creating a
database of references (either by hand or by importing in a number of
formats) and pasting tags to these references into a document. Processing
the document (reversibly) replaces the tags with citations (in a variety of
styles) and creates a bibliography (again in a variety of styles) at the
end. It will not gather citations and references out of a document such as
those created by TMG and allow one to manage them.
