Cheryl Robinson asked:

>>I'm not sure about how to
organise my files. For instance do I keep my husbands family as a separate
file from mine, if so where do you draw the line (so to speak). If I need
to add my grandchildren to myself and my husband it means I have to do it
twice (once on my family tree and once on my husbands family tree).

>>I hope you can understand what I am referring to. What do most people
do?<<

I don't claim to speak for everybody or even for the majority. <g> Many of
us, however, find it a whole lot simpler to keep *everybody* in one dataset.
If/when you need some chunk(s) of it separated, the process of creating a
partial copy is a whole lot easier than the reverse exercise of putting
Humpty Dumpty's pieces together.
