Lee,
The first "research" data set that I mentioned has over 700 names in it
now and I probably have close to that many additional names to enter. We
will have several other surname groups that will have close to that many
individuals. It just seemed better to set up separate databases and not
clutter up the main file with a lot of unproved connections.
We received a gedcom file from an Australian cousin that has 1800 names
that are part of my wife's line and I would anticipate merging that database
into our main database since we are confident of their relationship.
Thanks for your input on this and the many other subjects that you are
so knowledgeable about. I've printed out your very helpful pages from your
web site and bound them into a "users guide." Thanks so much for your
efforts.
