If you want to have these details of a land transfer then create a
custom tag similar to Land Purchase and Land Sale which I think are
default tags.

However I would consider them part of the larger land transaction and
record them in the tag memo and use the warrent, survey or patent
records as a source.

Your suggestion is straight forward. Although I do not see Land Purchase nor Land Sale in the default tags. It's no problem to make my own.
