In a descendant narrative journal, when all children are born in the same
place and that option is selected, one gets sentences like:

Known children of Burwinkle Hendershot and Annalise Steinmauerubertrager
all [or both] born in Ersatzkittle, East Prussia, were as follows:

When I took English composition 101 in 19xx, we would definitely have put
another comma after the mother's last name, however hopelessly long it may
have been. I forget the rule, but the principle was definitely drummed into
me.

Anybody disagree? Suggestions?

What is a good, modern (post-19xx) standard english style manuel that
answers this sort of question?
