Use a filter for a List of people: Any Tag > Birth Group > Date-Year is
less than [?] AND (Any Tag > Death Group > Date-year is greater than [?]
OR Burial Group OR Any Tag > Burial Group > Date-year is greater than
[?] OR Any Tag > Death Group does not exist OR Any Tag > Burial Group
does not exist).

Fill in the census year in the 3 places and you will get a list.
However if you are using a Census Index or Soundex you will have many
people in your list who are not in the index/soundex.

Those who died young for whom you do not have a death/burial date will
be in the list. To get a better list you may have to make a flag and do
a couple of passes to eliminate these.

I usually go through every person in the index or census with the
surnames I am looking for. I make a list of all people that I refer to
when necessary. You never know what you will find through serendipity.
