I thank all of the people who have publicly and privately sent me
suggestions on how to get rid of "Wilfred" the ghost. I ran all the
maintenance options......reindex, optimize, repair.......Wilfred remained
a problem.

So, I took someone else's suggestion and simply deleted him because I only
had a birth and no family for him, and it seemed like an easy
solution. So Wilfred is gone, but I am still having strange encounters of
a new kind. Now when I work on my source list.....deleting unused
sources....and then come back to the person view (of anyone....it
happens to anyone whose person view I have up), the
Principal person of the person view is replaced with ?? (leaving only
their birth & death years in ( ). When you click on the "Subject", and
bring up the Tag entry box, the person's name appears, and when you click
back there are only ??

Someone else asked about bookmarks.....I have cleared all bookmarks and
the problem remains. Also I ran a check for duplicate people and cleared
up any issues there......and the problem remains.

This is crazy stuff and annoying at the very least.....how can I fix
this??? Any other ideas????
