I took a look at this option but found that the info in the
bibliographic entry wasn't detailed enough to distinguish one item from
another. With the split citation field one may have say, one source
titled VA Augusta Co. Will Bk 3, and then have 5 or 6 individual wills
cited to it. I would like each will to have its own personal document
code. If I enter my code in the bibliographic entry, it only reflects
the will book, not the individual wills.

I talked to Bob about this request at the NGS conference in Richmond in
1998. I wonder if it wasn't added because of a lack of interest, or
maybe there are programming considerations I am not aware of.
