One learns something new every day on TMG!
I use the 'octothorpe'(i.e. 'hache' in "Australian") sign in an "American" way
to indicate number e.g. ID# 1234 - but never ever knew that it was used in
"American" in that weight sense above.......
Not genealogy and not TMG - but fascinating.
