When I was using film and a single-lens reflex a few years ago, a major
concern with copying images from microfilm readers was depth of field. I
have not seen this mentioned once in the many discussions about (and
advertising for) digital cameras. Has anyone else any experience with
this? I'm holding back on going digital because I'm too old to spend a
lot of money on an experiment so I can advise everyone else what not to
buy.
