I just bought a digital camera ($500) on the supposition that I can take
pictures of text with them and use them for copying textual material in
libraries etc with my camera and placing them in my computer. I can do all
that just fine. So far I have not found anyone who has ever converted such
images, either JPG or Tiff into editable text in a Word Processor. Everyone
agrees it can be done but no one seems to ever have actually done it. Some
say Textbridge ought to do it but before I buy that software I would like to
be sure all is possible. I already have OCR software bundled with my scanner
but I haven't figured out if that can be used on non-scanned images-Dale
