A bit of experimenting shows that CR's are passed to HTML the same way,
regardless of whether they are "naked" in a the memo, entered as [:CR:], or
generated by the program at the end of the first paragraph in a Journal report.
Tabs are also treated the same way in HTML output regardless of their
source -- that is, they are stripped from the text and do not show up at
all in the HTML output.
