As the many responses to this problem have illustrated (and is common knowledge) , GEDCOM is not a good standard (or even a standard with all the
versions abounding. I have talked to RootsWeb about GEDCOM problems to no avail. (I have five accounts with over 20,000 people on WorldConnect

I suggested to them that they contact Bob about using GenBridge.; but no email the GenBridge in it has ever been acknowledged, let alone answered.

Possibly if all users of programs that work with GenBridge would talk to RootsWeb, we could get a "proper" standard to transfer our data.
