As a new user, I highly recommend buying TMG: support is outstanding, and
the program has the flexibility both for simplified use (like I do at
present) or for those who use the more sophisticated functions. It is a
program that you can grow into as a user.

Before spending any money on TMG check out LEGACY. It's free and may meet
all your needs. It too is an industrial strength genealogy program.
