Robyn, I am happy for you that you have had no problems. However, you
obviously have a cable modem or ADSL to download 27Meg in 5 minutes,
unfortunately not all of us have (or can afford) that option :o(
I initially tried using the eBot program because it resumes downloading
from where it left off if there is a break in the download. However, it
didn't work for some reason, so I then tried the http option. Luckily this
time it came down OK even though it took 1hr 40m with my 56K modem, I can
tell you it is not only batsmen that go through the nervous 90's :o)
I also know someone in Melbourne still having problems trying to download
FTST, and another having problems getting FTST running. So there are
problems, and I don't know if people should be seen as "complaining" they
are just hoping for help, which is what I though this group was all about.
So please don't be too hard on people raising download issues. I don't
mind, and I pay for the time I am connected (isn't cable/ADSL always
connected not a /hr charge ?), and the delete key works well if the topic
is not of interest.
